Sean Barrow - Solicitor
Sean joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in July 1979 under then principal, Peter Gass. After 2 years, Sean was promoted to a partner at the firm, and after Peter Gass retired in 1987, Sean then became principal.
Sean has considerable Private Client expertise as this is the only area he has ever practiced. He now solely deals with Probate, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Care of the Elderly.
Outside of work, Sean is a season ticket holder at Manchester City and enjoys gardening and visiting his native Ireland.
Emma Kay - licensed Conveyancer
Emma joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in June 2009 and was promoted in Director in December 2010.
Emma specialises in Residential Conveyancing. Emma deals with all new build work within the office, and has experience in complex purchases schemes such as Home Buy Direct, Shared Equity, and Shared Ownership purchases.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys drinking and eating in the local area.
Eleanor Finnigan - Solicitor
Eleanor joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in August 2010.
Eleanor specialises in Residential Conveyancing and has embraced the Client Care ethos at Jackson Barrett & Gass. Eleanor is currently studying for the STEP Exams to enable her to practice in Probate & Wills.
Outside of work, Eleanor enjoys walking her dog and eating out.
Ruth Massey - Solicitor
Ruth joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in August 2011.
Ruth has over 30 years Conveyancing experience, and has specialised in Commercial Conveyancing for the last 15 years. She has worked in Cheshire her entire career and has extensive knowledge of the local area.
Outside of work, Ruth has been a member of Ladybrook Singers choir for last 12 years, and likes walking in countryside.
Quentin Dodd - ILEX Conveyancer
Quentin joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in October 2011.
Quentin has conveyancing experience in the public and finance sectors, as well as considerable private client experience. He acted in the North West's most expensive residential property purchase whilst at Addleshaw Goddard LLP.
Outside of work, Quentin enjoys watching Bolton Wanderers FC.
Mary Barrow - Cashier & Legal Assistant
Mary joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in 1984 and became cashier in 2000.
Mary deals with accounts queries and liaising with our accountants, who visit the office weekly. She also assists Sean with Wills, LPAs & Care of the Elderly.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys watching Manchester City, gardening and cooking.
Rick Barrow - Marketing Manager
Rick joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in October 2007 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Rick deals with all Marketing and Business Development for the firm. He also deals with monitoring and improving the delivery of our legal services through client and other stakeholder feedback, as well as his own non-legal business experience.
Outside of work Rick enjoys playing Rugby and Cricket, and is a regular music festival visitor.
Jackie Hanson - Solicitor (now retired)
Jackie joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in June 2010 after 11 years with Beardsells Solicitors.
Jackie has considerable Private Client expertise as this is the area she has practiced throughout her 35 year career in the Law. Jackie specialised in Residential Conveyancing and her client care and focus is evidenced by the vast number of clients who have followed her to Jackson Barrett & Gass.
Outside of work, Jackie enjoys cycling and walking in the Peak District of Derbyshire.
Warren Shore - Conveyancer (now retired)
Warren joined Jackson Barrett & Gass over 11 years ago when we were still present on Grove Street.
Warren specialised in Residential Sales. He has considerable experience in this area, and as well as the sale of commercial property and ground rents.
Warren is well liked by clients for his professional and courteous service, and receives excellent feedback.
Outside of work, Warren enjoys fine wines and DIY and growing his own fruit and vegetables. |
