Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass Solic­i­tors have launched a new cam­paign called Life­time Planning. 

The idea behind the con­cept is that when we are advis­ing on key legal con­sid­er­a­tions through­out your life­time, we also prompt you to con­sid­er non-legal fac­tors at the same time, either through one of our pre­ferred part­ners, or through your own con­tact. This ensures your whole needs are con­sid­ered in advance of key life events. 

Life­time Plan­ning as a con­cept is noth­ing new. How­ev­er, it is rarely con­sid­ered across the spec­trum of pro­fes­sion­al ser­vices, usu­al­ly to the detri­ment of the client.

The oth­er main point is that this con­cept is not age spe­cif­ic. For exam­ple, the com­mon mis­con­cep­tion is that a Will is only required after a cer­tain age. This is obvi­ous­ly incor­rect, as a per­son could die at any age in life, & with­out an ade­quate Will, leave their wish­es & assets to the rules of Intestacy.
