Appli­ca­tions are sought from indi­vid­u­als who have a min­i­mum of 2 years of PQE gained with­in the com­mer­cial prop­er­ty sector. 

Appli­ca­tions will be con­sid­ered from Solic­i­tor or Char­tered Legal Exec­u­tive lev­el. The suc­cess­ful can­di­date must be able to demon­strate a high lev­el of com­mer­cial con­veyanc­ing expe­ri­ence and the abil­i­ty to deal with a full and var­ied case­load of all con­veyanc­ing matters.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties

  • You will be expect­ed to advise on all aspects of com­mer­cial prop­er­ty law includ­ing prepa­ra­tion and nego­ti­a­tion of leas­es, site acqui­si­tions and sales, and deal­ing with devel­op­er finance
  • Liais­ing with clients, lenders and oth­er Solicitors. 
  • Estab­lish­ing and main­tain­ing pro­fes­sion­al rela­tion­ships with clients ensur­ing reg­u­lar con­tact through­out the transaction.
  • Ensure that the firm’s risk man­age­ment and AML pro­ce­dures are adhered to.
  • Par­tic­i­pa­tion in mar­ket­ing activ­i­ties whether on a firmwide, depart­men­tal or office basis.
  • Ensure the suc­cess­ful devel­op­ment of the firm in line with the busi­ness plan.

Ide­al Fit

  • You will have excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion, client care and organ­i­sa­tion­al skills.
  • You will be pro­fi­cient in the use of Microsoft Office and have expe­ri­ence work­ing with­in a case man­age­ment system.
  • You will be able to per­form com­plex com­mer­cial trans­ac­tions accu­rate­ly, reli­ably, effi­cient­ly and in accor­dance with the firm’s procedures.
  • You will be per­son­able and good at deal­ing with clients.
  • You will have the abil­i­ty to work well with­in a team.
