Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass are delight­ed to have achieved accred­i­ta­tion by the Law Society’s Wills and Inher­i­tance Qual­i­ty Scheme (WIQS).

Designed for prac­tices that are autho­rised and reg­u­lat­ed by the Solic­i­tors Reg­u­la­tion Author­i­ty, WIQS pro­vides a best prac­tice qual­i­ty mark for Wills and Pro­bate advice that con­sumers can trust and helps them to dis­tin­guish between providers that are unreg­u­lat­ed, unin­sured and untrained.

The firm has under­gone an appli­ca­tion and assess­ment process to demon­strate adop­tion of best prac­tice procedures:

1. Help con­sumers under­stand the issues in prepar­ing a Will or seek­ing Pro­bate advice and make them aware of the options, costs and timescales from the outset.
2. Enable con­sumers to make an informed choice of prac­tice and not be pres­sured into buy­ing more com­plex advice that is not in their best interests.
3. Keep clients informed through­out the process, using their pre­ferred method of communication.
4. Deliv­er a qual­i­ty ser­vice and advice through manda­to­ry train­ing in the WIQS stan­dard for accred­it­ed Solic­i­tors and staff.
