Will Week Donation for The Animal Sanctuary
A Wilmslow law firm has once again supported The Animal Sanctuary in Wilmslow by collecting donations from generous clients during Will Week earlier this year.
This year, Jackson Barrett & Gass Solicitors presented The Animal Sanctuary with a cheque for £887 after clients made a donation, typically equal to the firm’s normal charge for making a will. The firm’s staff also made donations for a ‘dress down Friday’.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the law firm has supported the local animal charity which is run by the Humane Education Society.
Speaking about this latest donation, Rick Barrow, marketing director of Jackson Barrett & Gass said, “Will Week is a great initiative as it shines a light on a really important issue; the need for people to get their affairs in order.
“Many people put off making a will but when they hear that they can get one prepared whilst making a donation to a fantastic local charity they get on with it. Everyone is a winner!”
Colin Barton, trustee of The Animal Sanctuary said, “We receive hundreds of animals each year and our work is only made possible through generous donations.
“We are really grateful for the support the team at Jackson Barrett and Gass has given us over the past four years and, of course, a bug thank you to their clients too.”
