Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass Solic­i­tors are tak­ing part in the Ani­mal Sanc­tu­ary Will Week start­ing Mon­day 28th April.

The Wilm­slow law firm will pro­vide stan­dard Wills & advice in return for a dona­tion to the Ani­mal Sanc­tu­ary, Wilmslow.

A Will (or Tes­ta­ment) is a legal dec­la­ra­tion by which a per­son, the Tes­ta­tor, names one or more per­sons to man­age his/​her Estate and pro­vides for the trans­fer of his/​her prop­er­ty at death. If you die with­out a Will (“IntEs­tate”), then the law will dic­tate who amongst your rel­a­tives receives what.

Will Week gives an oppor­tu­ni­ty to con­sid­er impor­tant per­son­al fac­tors whilst sup­port­ing a local char­i­ty either through dona­tions & legacies.

The Ani­mal Sanc­tu­ary, Wilm­slow, is run by the Humane Edu­ca­tion Soci­ety, a char­i­ta­ble organ­i­sa­tion work­ing for a more com­pas­sion­ate soci­ety through edu­ca­tion and prac­ti­cal work with chil­dren and animals.

The Sanc­tu­ary requires con­stant work to com­ply with increas­ing ani­mal wel­fare and vis­i­tor safe­ty stan­dards. The Soci­ety has plans in place for the future and with suf­fi­cient finance will be help­ing ani­mals and pro­mot­ing humane prin­ci­ples for many years to come.
