Will Week Dona­tion for The Ani­mal Sanctuary

A Wilm­slow law firm has once again sup­port­ed The Ani­mal Sanc­tu­ary in Wilm­slow by col­lect­ing dona­tions from gen­er­ous clients dur­ing Will Week ear­li­er this year. 

This year, Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass Solic­i­tors pre­sent­ed The Ani­mal Sanc­tu­ary with a cheque for £887 after clients made a dona­tion, typ­i­cal­ly equal to the firm’s nor­mal charge for mak­ing a will. The firm’s staff also made dona­tions for a ​‘dress down Friday’. 

This is the fourth con­sec­u­tive year that the law firm has sup­port­ed the local ani­mal char­i­ty which is run by the Humane Edu­ca­tion Society. 

Speak­ing about this lat­est dona­tion, Rick Bar­row, mar­ket­ing direc­tor of Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass said, ​“Will Week is a great ini­tia­tive as it shines a light on a real­ly impor­tant issue; the need for peo­ple to get their affairs in order. 

“Many peo­ple put off mak­ing a will but when they hear that they can get one pre­pared whilst mak­ing a dona­tion to a fan­tas­tic local char­i­ty they get on with it. Every­one is a winner!” 

Col­in Bar­ton, trustee of The Ani­mal Sanc­tu­ary said, ​“We receive hun­dreds of ani­mals each year and our work is only made pos­si­ble through gen­er­ous donations. 

“We are real­ly grate­ful for the sup­port the team at Jack­son Bar­rett and Gass has giv­en us over the past four years and, of course, a bug thank you to their clients too.”
