New Homes Legal Helpline, the new build divi­sion of Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass, has been appoint­ed as a Help to Buy South West Pan­el Solic­i­tor fol­low­ing a suc­cess­ful ten­der appli­ca­tion ear­li­er this month.

New Homes Legal Helpline pro­vides spe­cial­ist Con­veyanc­ing and prop­er­ty ser­vices, and was estab­lished with the sole inten­tion of pro­vid­ing a ded­i­cat­ed ser­vice to clients pur­chas­ing new build properties.

Help to Buy South West is a not for prof­it’ organ­i­sa­tion pro­vid­ing the oppor­tu­ni­ty for peo­ple to achieve the dream of buy­ing their home. They are the first point of con­tact for any­one who can­not afford to buy a home on the open mar­ket and offer a range of afford­able options includ­ing shared equi­ty and, shared ownership.

Help to Buy South West have been appoint­ed this role by the Homes and Com­mu­ni­ties Agency, the gov­ern­ment body that funds afford­able new homes, as one of its 9 Help to Buy Agents. Help to Buy South West is the Help to Buy Agent for South West England.

Inci­den­tal­ly, the Chan­cel­lor announced recent­ly that the Help to Buy” equi­ty scheme will also extend­ed, until the end of the decade. He said this would finance the build­ing of 120,000 homes.
