Platform81 is a marketing agency specialising in strategic marketing, graphic design & website design for small to medium-sized businesses across the North West and West Midlands. Due to further expansion and recruitment plans, it was decided that the company would need to move from its previous home at Broadstone Mill. They came to JBGass for assistance with transferring and terminating an existing lease.
Platform81 agreed the Heads of Terms of their new office directly with the agent, Breakey Nuttall. The Heads of Terms were then sent to all parties; Platform81& Co, their Solicitor at JBGass and finally, the Landlord’s legal team.
The legal documentation was forwarded to JBGass to check and approve. The process was made slightly more complicated with the Landlord being a Pension Company & the previous tenants wishing to leave before the end of their Lease Term. Due to this, a new Lease was granted to Platform 81 for the remaining term rather than assigning the previous Lease.
