Wilmslow law firm, Jackson Barrett & Gass, are extending their electronic services to enhance client service.
Jackson Barrett & Gass already utilise the Intelliworks solution which allows Conveyancing clients and Estate agents to check their case’s progress via online tracking, as well as sending text messages and emails at key milestones.
Ochresoft, who provide Intelliworks, have now launched a Private client workflow to assist Probate, Wills & Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) clients in the same way. Reviewing case notes and progress online, leads to a much more efficient and cost effective transaction for all parties involved as opposed to relying solely on letters and telephone. It also allows executors and beneficiaries who are more distant, to feel more up to date.
The system also increases the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the transaction through the solicitor’s use of the system which includes letter templates, detailed case workflows and diary functions as well as enhanced email communication which has countless time and cost advantages.
By using the solution, Jackson Barrett & Gass are following a proven process recommended by Lexcel, the Law Society’s Practice Management Standard. Jackson Barrett & Gass are part of less than 10% of law firms in England and Wales accredited to Lexcel, which shows the firm has met high standards in the way it is managed.
Wills & Probate specialist, Paul Clark, said “We are proud to be an early adopter of such a service. Probate and Estate work is a complex process and we firmly believe that the new system will help reduce some the mystery of the work.
As a firm, we try to provide complete transparency over all transactions regardless of the complexity, and are committed to continually assess and improve our service to clients.”
Pauline Freegard, Director at Ochresoft said “Jackson Barratt & Gass are a model Firm using technology to offer their clients a more efficient and more transparent legal service.”
