Octo­ber proved to be a month of cel­e­bra­tion at Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass, as a dou­ble retire­ment was met with a dou­ble recruitment.

Con­veyancer War­ren Shore was the first to retire in ear­ly Octo­ber after 11 years with the firm. He joined Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass whilst at their pre­vi­ous address on Grove Street, and han­dled all res­i­den­tial and com­mer­cial prop­er­ty sales at the firm.

Solic­i­tor, Jack­ie Han­son, also retired in late Octo­ber. Jack­ie joined the firm in June 2010 fol­low­ing redun­dan­cy, and hand­picked Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass to look after her client fol­low­ing. She was sub­se­quent­ly offered a role with the firm and proved to be a valu­able asset with the vast expe­ri­ence she had.

With retire­ment comes recruit­ment. Spe­cial­ist Com­mer­cial Con­veyanc­ing Solic­i­tor, Ruth Massey, joined Jack­son Bar­rett & Gass in August, and Legal Exec­u­tive, Quentin Dodd, joined in ear­ly Octo­ber to take over War­ren Shore’s Res­i­den­tial Con­veyanc­ing role.
