October proved to be a month of celebration at Jackson Barrett & Gass, as a double retirement was met with a double recruitment.

Conveyancer Warren Shore was the first to retire in early October after 11 years with the firm. He joined Jackson Barrett & Gass whilst at their previous address on Grove Street, and handled all residential and commercial property sales at the firm.

Solicitor, Jackie Hanson, also retired in late October. Jackie joined the firm in June 2010 following redundancy, and handpicked Jackson Barrett & Gass to look after her client following. She was subsequently offered a role with the firm and proved to be a valuable asset with the vast experience she had.

With retirement comes recruitment. Specialist Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor, Ruth Massey, joined Jackson Barrett & Gass in August, and Legal Executive, Quentin Dodd, joined in early October to take over Warren Shore’s Residential Conveyancing role.

Sean Barrow, Senior Solicitor said: “First and foremost, I must thank Warren for the professional and friendly service he offered to countless clients. I also have to thank Jackie for her service for the time she was with us.

Moving forward, we have recruited an excellent replacement in Quentin, and have extended our commerical Conveyancing expertise with Ruth’s arrival. I’m extremely pleased with Quentin and Ruth’s arrival, and I’m confident that clients will also be.”
